Shade Strikes Again

Shade was sure that hiring a professional guide would do the trick this time, but as it turns out, the guide was a little tired.

So it looks as though Shade paid this guide to sleep in the woods.

But, as you can see, Shade doesn't need a guide.

Lay Of The Land

We're not mad, the green apple we were eating was terribly sour.

These are just a few photos of the places we hunted this past week.

Hunting For The Ghost Of Giles Co.

Upon arriving at the Crossroads Market, we were told of a legend, "The Ghost Of Giles Co." Naturally, being as eager as we were, we ignored the warnings and proceeded without a care in the world. Upon nightfall, short after drifting off into a silent slumber, we hear the first cries, of many to come. If you listened closely, in the faint distance, I think they were calling our names.

The trees blowing in the howling wind, coupled with the folklore of centuries past. We had no choice. . .

We must search, for ourselves, and apprehend this local fable. Hours and days pass, still nothing. Nothing. Nothing. Nothing. Nothing. Nothing. Nothing. Nothing. Nothing. Nothing. Nothing. Nothing.

Wait right look right there! . . . . No. Nothing. I never got a clear shot of what we were actually chasing/hunting. If you look close in the picture above, I believe you can see a slight figure, but skeptics disagree.

After 6 hours of Ghost Hunting, comes a rustling from the North, followed by a series of foot steps; steps turn to jog; jog to sprint; sprint to silence. . .POW!!! Cole had been struck by an unseen force. Luckily, with cat-like reflexes, matched with his solid commitment to physical strengthening in the gym, Cole was able to fight off his concealed attacker with minor injuries (see above picture).

It was a long weekend of waiting, so naturally, we have lots of pictures. More will be posted in the following days.

In the studio with Tracy

Cole with Mike Geiger, Tracy Byrd and Corpus Christi's own Trey Matthews having lunch, in studio, after Tracy cut one of Cole's newest songs. Listen for it on the radio in May!!! In addition, that little bundle of joy Tracy is holding, is the newest addition to the Nashville songwriting community, Landry Matthews.

Shade's Turkey

This is the one that Shade killed, I think it's bigger than Cole's.

Preparation. . .

Cole needed to mentally prepare himself for the upcoming studio time.
